Registration Policies

The Connecticut Women's Consortium

 

$450  ends May 28th, 2019, 4:30 pm EST

$365 Group Rate 8+ people or more

 

 

You must attend for the full 2.5 days to be trained in your curriculum and receive credits. There are no partial or 1-day registration options. The final date for registration is Tuesday, May 28th, 2019. Any registrations past this date will incur an additional $50 late fee and extra registration processing times at check-in.  

 

If You Are Registering with a Debit Card or Credit Card

Register online. To protect your information we do not accept credit card information by phone. If you are having difficulty online, you can follow the register by mail instructions below.

 

If You Are Registering with A Purchase Order

Fax both your 1) registration form and 2) a copy of the approved purchase order from your organization to

(203) 909-6894.

 

A copy of the purchase order must be sent as proof of future payment. Without this document, you will not ensure your space in the event. Your agency must then send payment, as purchase orders are only an agreement of payment.  Credits will only be issued when the purchase order has been paid in full.  All purchase orders must be paid in full no later than Friday, May 3rd, 2019 or you will lose your spot to attend the conference. 

 

To Register by Mail

Complete the registration form and mail or fax the form with a check or money order. There is a $25 bank & handling fee for all returned checks. Failure to pay this fee will prevent you from registering for future courses at the CWC or attending this conference. Checks and purchase orders are payable to The Connecticut Women's Consortium and can be sent to

Register A Group

For groups of 8+ or more, you may apply for a group rate. To register a group, you must fill out a registration form with all accompanying purchase orders and you can send via fax or email. We recommend calling us for any questions (203) 909 - 6888 x2

 

Refund Policy

If you have registered for the conference or paid for sponsorship/exhibitor booth and can no longer attend you must call and speak with a staff member to receive a refund. In order to receive a 75% refund you must notify The Connecticut Women's Consortium by Friday, May 3rd, 2019. No refunds will be issued after this date. No credits on account for other CWC events will be issued for cancellations.

The Connecticut Women's Consortium is the host and registrar of the conference.

Special Tickets for A Woman's Way Through the 12 Steps

There are two ways to register for this event. 

 

1) NO CREDITS / GUESTS - Register through Eventbrite for the general public, women in recovery, and agencies who would like to bring clients. No professional credits are included in these FREE general public tickets.

 

2) CREDITS / CONFERENCE ATTENDEES - Select the event during your registration for the conference to receive credits.

Meals

Breakfast and lunch are included with your registration. Coffee breaks, sponsored by our partners, are available throughout the day. Special dietary needs are taken into account when meal planning with the hotel. Please call us if you have specific concerns about your dietary needs. You can identify any special needs you have during the registration process in one of three ways: 1) while creating an account, 2) by updating your profile (My Information >My Profile >Edit/View Information), or 3) indicating your needs on your printed registration form.  

 

$5 coupon to the hotel restaurant Tavola is available for dinner. Learn more about restaurants in the area.

 

Credits

It is your responsibility to remember to sign in and out at the beginning and end of each day and after evening events. No partial credit is given if you arrive late or leave early. Your conference evaluation is sent electronically from training@womensconsortium.org, once you complete this form you will receive your certificate.  If you have any questions regarding whether or not your licensure is covered under these credentialing authorities contact your local licensing board for more information. 

 

The maximum number of credits for this conference with night events is 18.5. The 2.5 day conference with no optional events is 15.5 credits. Optional evening events are 1.5 credits each totaling to 3 credits if you attend both events. Tickets for guests on the Eventbrite website for Women's Way Through the Twelve Steps do not include credits. Learn More

These credits are applicable for

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)

  • Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW)

  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFT)

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Licensed Clinical Psychologists

 

Addiction and Drug Abuse Counselors

Connecticut Certification Board - CECs are applicable for

  • Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors (LADCs)

  • Certified Addiction Counselors (CACs

  • Nationally - The Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) & National International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) are covered under CCB-CT Credits

 

 

STATES - New York, New Jersey, Michigan, West Virginia & National NASW

Please note some states have additional processes for accepting National NASW credits. Learn more at NASW. For example, New York State has a different process than other states for accepting National NASW CECs, that we cannot guarantee. You must apply to your state board. Past attendees from NY have applied and been accepted. Due to our proximity to NY this year we will offer more information and instructions as they become available. More information is pending (8/18/18).
