Hotel & Travel

Stamford, Connecticut, United States

Extend your stay, the hotel group rate applies

3 days before and after the conference!

Stamford, Connecticut is an ideal location for travel. Close

to 7 airports large and small, and train and bus options, it is

40 miles from Manhattan, NY (1 hr train) as well as close to

Connecticut cities like Norwalk, Bridgeport, and New Haven.

The Hilton Hotel itself is a .5mi  walk from the train station.

The city is considered safer and more driver-friendly than

most with available parking. Stamford is in the New York

metro area and has one of the largest concentrations of

corporations in the United States. Although parking is

plentiful, traffic to and from Stamford can be more congested

because of the proximity to NYC and we suggest factoring that in your commute.

Culturally, Stamford is a nautical city on long island sound. The city boosts Chelsea Piers Connecticut, antiquing, theaters, shopping, museums, nearby aquarium, golf courses and gardens. Look for summer activities and outdoor music festivals. Common day trips include NYC, Bridgeport, Norwalk, trips to the beach, Beardsley Zoo and Antiquing trail. For local attractions see below.

Expect warm weather in June the average is 86 F or 29.8 C with humidity.  Download printed map or see online map at the bottom of this page.
